Living My Life In Gratitude

My girls and I each keep a journal that I bought a year ago that we turned into a gratitude journal—whatever it is that we’re grateful for, blessings big or small, we write it there. Being grateful is one of the most valuable philosophies in life that I’m thankful that I learned, and that I, in turn, am teaching to my children.

The past couple of months tested my resolve of living a life in gratitude, and honestly, I had let these challenges stop me from living the philosophy I stand by. Only after a conversation from a friend—who valiantly advocates the value of being grateful—and receiving a couple of messages from God Whispers did I realize that I had forgotten to be thankful; that I was focusing on what was wrong than rejoicing for the blessings that I have; and that I still have a lot to be thankful for.

I have been reminded by God…
• To be committed to living a life in gratitude and to look for even the simplest things in life that I can be grateful for.
• That I’ll always be happy when I always find it in my heart to be thankful in all circumstances.
• That grateful people are gorgeous people!
• That if I want more miracles to happen in my life, I also have to be thankful for things I do not see.

So, yes, God gave me a whack in the head!

It’s true that one of my weaknesses is that I slowly turn away from doing something good when I’m faced with problems. I believe I am still a work in progress in that area, and this is where I’ll always be grateful to God for He never gives up in reminding me and giving me a hard nudge whenever I would go astray. He really is my Saviour!

SAHM’s Notebook will now be my special place online where I will spread gratefulness in every possible way, and I earnestly hope that I would inspire you as well to life a life filled with gratitude.

This blog has been in deep slumber for a while and now it’s back to life! And I sincerely thank you for sticking around. :)

Merci beaucoup!

Be thankful in all circumstances, for this is God's will for you who belong to Christ Jesus.
- 1 Thessalonians 5:18

  1. That's true. We should count our blessings instead of...

  2. Let's thank the Lord for everything He gives even difficulties.
